EEA Online is a range of on-demand training courses for engineers.
Carefully curated to develop the skills and knowledge you need to excel throughout your engineering career, these courses cover essential professional and transdisciplinary topics as well as highly technical engineering content.
Each course is designed by an engineering or industry expert. So you'll learn about the latest industry trends and leading-edge practices based on the insights of a nationally and internationally recognised professional.
An easy and convenient way to keep on top of your professional development, each course will take about eight hours to complete with the ability to pause in-between.
And as Engineers Australia's training provider, all EEA Online courses can contribute towards your Continuing Professional Development (CPD) hours.

1. Register
To get started, register for one of the courses listed above.
Once registered, you'll receive an email with instructions on how to access the EEA Online platform.
2. Start the course
You'll need to login into EEA Online to access the course.
For your first EEA Online course, you will be sent instructions on setting up your account from Canvas by Instructure ([email protected]structure.com), the Learning Management System that powers EEA Online.
You will have 90 days to complete the course from the date you register.
3. Work through the course
Each course will take approximately 8 hours to complete.
As they are self-paced, you can start anytime and save your progress as you finish each module.
You'll learn through a mix of practical case studies, quizzes and reading, audio and video materials. You'll also apply your knowledge in practice with a variety of assessment tasks and learning checks.
4. Complete the course
Once you finish the course, you will receive a digital badge as evidence of your achievement. Learn more about Engineering Education Australia’s digital badges including how to claim and share on our Frequently asked questions page.
This will also information on the number of Engineers Australia Continuing Professional Development (CPD) hours you can claim.
EEA Online is powered by leading Learning Management System (LMS), Canvas by Instructure.
Once you register for a course, you will be provided with access to the EEA Online Canvas platform to start this course.
If you are registering for your first EEA Online course, you will receive an email from [email protected] inviting you to set up your EEA Online account.
